Happy holidays to all hive friends. 😊 and welcome back to our channel. Today because I'm bored at home I decided to take a short walk to the mall to get rid of boredom. To enter the mall, now every visitor must show a vaccine card or scan the barcode to find out if the visitor has vaccinated or not.
After entering the mall and already showing lunch time I decided to look for a cafe or restaurant that suits my taste and of course also fits the contents of my pocket. And finally I decided to choose a restaurant with an archipelago feel or food with Indonesian taste
And the restaurant is called COBEK. From the front, this cafe has a modern feel. As soon as you enter the cafe or restaurant, the millennial or modern feel is very thick in that place, next to the cafe entrance, for those of you who have toddlers in that place, children's games are provided which are quite entertaining so they don't get bored, after doing traveling around the mall with their families, parents can also take care of them safely and comfortably because the games provided at the cafe are not dangerous for children their age.
In this cafe we can also gather with friends because the place is very fun to relax and find inspiration. And the architecture in this place is also not only modern but does not eliminate its traditional shadow through the knick-knacks that surround the restaurant.
After observing this cafe, we ordered the available food, but as the name implies, Cobek which means millstone. So in this place the food available is all Indonesian. Some of the food menus that exist in this place and can be chosen are:
Penyet Duck, Grilled Duck, Pecak Chicken, green chili chicken, chicken penyet egg, grilled chicken and many other traditional menus, while the drinks available are so many and varied, you just have to choose what is not in this place, namely alcoholic drinks . And besides the food and drinks available here, there are also various kinds of deserts, such as Triple Ice cream, Fruit Ice Cream, red bean ice, cendol and many more.
So many menu choices available, my friend and I decided to order a few dishes, namely Nasi timbel Komplit. This menu consists of white rice rolled in banana leaves, chili paste, some fresh vegetables, fried tofu, fried tempeh, and one piece of crispy fried chicken. In addition we also ordered complete grilled rice and fish penyet. As well as some drinks such as sweet iced tea, and young coconut ice with orange juice and mineral water.
What I like about this restaurant, the fried chicken with crispy flour is really crunchy, and the chili paste here is not too spicy, so it's perfect for those of you who don't like it too spicy.
