Out of nowhere, my husband sent a message to me about the newly opened Sizzling restaurant at Goyong, Borbon, Cebu. I was surprised knowing that I'm the one who always invites him to go to certain restaurants or food stores. Surprisingly, he did ask me to try it. As a laagan kind of person, I'm always on the go. So, come on, let's see and explore the newest Sizzling station near our residence, Mi Corazon.
The Structure
We departed from our house at 6:35 pm and arrived at 6:40 pm. There's no problem with the parking area because it's spacious. If you bring your car or any vehicle, there's enough space. Open time is 3 pm, and closing time is 9:00 pm.
That is their kitchen and customer service. When you order, they will automatically give it to the in charge. Pay as you type.
The funny thing about this side, I thought the water for free. However, you need to pay to have a glass of it. Everything is for sale.🤣
Anywhere in the store is just cozy. Mostly the structure is made of bamboo. The native design made it more presentable and unique. The happy faces of my child and husband are similar to how comfortable the store is.
The lights are made of native materials and added to the artistry of the store; when we go there, there are only a few customers. The latter plays an important role in every store. It gives a clearer vision of the products they're selling and provides nice shade while taking an Instagrammable photo.😁
The Menu, Price, and the Food We Order
As you can see, they have 9 kinds of sizzling that you can choose for only Php 99 or 1.78 USD with unlimited rice and gravy. For our order, we have 1 Hungarian Sausage and 1 Beef Sirloin.
Some people like sausages; that one fits you. It is big and not for me because I always like sweet kind of viand plus it's so spicy. My husband was the one who ate plus unlimited gravy for an affordable price. Amazing, right?
I knew Beef Sirloin suited me. 😁 Its sweet taste is perfectly molded to fit a customer like me, and I heard this is their bestseller; they have "to-go" orders in any of their food; Supposedly, I wanted to order ice cream for my daughter, but there's none available at that moment. I truly understand because they're newly opened and still in the process of putting in additional products.
I would recommend this store if you want to have good food at an affordable price. Yes, you can rarely find restaurants with unlimited rice and gravy for a cheap amount. Overall, I paid Php 201 or 3.62 USD, including the soda for my husband's drinks. My daughter and I drink water; I am so happy I haven't been lured into drinking the latter for two months.
Regardless of the price and everything, no value can exchange for the happiness we feel every time we do this. We grab the opportunity to try this out because it's near home. So, burp and enjoy.
Life is not about being cheap or expensive; it's about how you spend every moment with the right people.
