Today I will review a type of food made of rice but unique, this rice is wrapped in banana leaves and stuffed and then grilled.
Do you know the name of this type of food? Yes.... Grilled Rice, we Indonesians call it Grilled Rice.
Today I bought three packs of Grilled Rice Cakalang.
Skipjack (Cakalang) is a type of fish such as tuna.
Because I'm lazy to go to the kitchen, so I bought this grilled rice to a friend, the price is quite cheap only RP. 10,000.00 for one pack.
With a cheap price, we can already get a large portion, with quite a lot of stuffing, we also get fresh lettuce and cucumber.

How does it feel
This grilled rice is quite tasty and savory, but in my opinion it is not spicy enough. And I understand it because with a cheap price we can get food like this. After all, the price of chili here is also very expensive, in my opinion if someone requests spicy, they should just add the price.
The rice used is very fluffier, so it adds to the enjoyment when eating it.
The filling of this grilled rice has been cooked beforehand, there are a few basil leaves in it. Actually the way to make it is very easy, we only need to take cooked rice, you can give stuffing into it according to taste for example squid sauce, anchovies, chicken and others then wrap it in banana leaves and then burn it. And If you want to make it at home, I suggest using fluffier rice.
There is nothing wrong with buy a friend's merchandise, without us realizing we have helped the economy.
