In this rainy weather, it seems I need a snack to eat. Well..... luckily I still have some cassava at home.
I immediately cleaned the cassava and then took it to the grater when the weather was drizzling. I also buy grated coconut that has been peeled. Today I plan to make a snack from cassava.
If yesterday I made a recipe for cassava snacks by frying, this time I will again make snacks from cassava but the way to cook it is by steaming.

yes... I think you've heard of or eaten it, today I'm going to make a SENTILING snack. SENTILING is a snack made from cassava, usually SENTILING will be served with grated coconut.
How to make it is a little complicated and requires several ingredients, but for the taste there is no need to doubt. Here is a recipe for making SENTILING, happy reading, hopefully it's easy to understand.
SENTILING Cassava Recipe
INGREDIENTS
Here I use red, green and pink.
HOW TO COOK
- Step 1
Squeeze the cassava with a clean cloth, throw a little water
- Step 2
Add agar agar, instant coconut milk, 6 spoons of sugar, 1 packet of vanilla and half a tsp of salt. Then stir until well blended.
- Step 3
Divide the ingredients into 3 parts, then give each a different color. Then stir one by one until the colors are well mixed.
- Step 4
Prepare the mold, grease it with cooking oil evenly so it doesn't stick.
- Step 5
Pour the ingredients one by one I start with pink.
- Step 6
Prepare a pot for steaming, then steam the first ingredient for 10 minutes.
- Step 7
After it is enough, remove it from the steamer for a while, then overwrite it with green material. Then steam again.
- Step 8
Do as above after steaming for 10 minutes remove and overwrite with the last ingredient. Then steam for about 45 minutes so that the cassava is cooked evenly.
After the cassava is cooked immediately remove it and wait for it to cool. After it cools down, remove it from the mould.
- Step 9
Mix coconut with 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar, half a teaspoon of salt, then steam briefly. This method is useful for grated coconut so it doesn't go stale quickly.
- Step 10
Split into 2 parts.
- Step 11
Cut according to taste.
- Step 12
Coat with grated coconut, then serve.
