I was inspired.
I saw a post for a Garlic Noodle recipe, and I'm here to share it with you:
Ingredients to Obtain:
- 1 lb egg noodles
- 2 Tbl of olive oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 Tbl of oyster sauce
- 1/3 cup of parmesan cheese
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 2 tbs of chicken bouillon powder
Directions:
- Boil and drain noodles
- Heat oil
- Add butter and garlic, and stir fry
- Add the chicken bouillon powder, and stir fry
- Add the noodles, and stir fry
- Pour the oyster sauce over the noodles, stir, and then top with cheese
Unfortunately, I didn't have all the ingredients, such as egg noodles. I did substitute it with hand cut noodles, and that came out good as well. And instead of parmesan cheese, I added ranch powder to the noodles. I didn't taste the difference, but it was still tasty anyways.
I also made a side dish, which was a stir fry of beef slices, garlic, onions, soy sauce, cilantro, red peppers and zucchini. It complemented the garlic noodles well. Added a tablespoon of hot chili oil on the side to add spice.
In retrospect, I think I could've added a little rice flour or corn starch to the beef dish to coat it with a gravy, but it was still tasty none-the-less.
Can't wait to make a bigger bowl of garlic noodles next time!
