Spicy Sweet Claws
- 1 / 2kg chicken claws (clean, then cut, adjust to taste)
- 4 pieces of lime leaves
- 2 btng lemongrass (geprek) GROUND SPICES:
- 8 spring onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- 12 pieces of cayenne pepper
- 5 red curly chilies
- 3 candlenuts
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Seasoning to taste (optional)
- 5 tbsp sweet soy sauce (according to taste)
HOW TO COOK:
- Clean the claws as clean as possible 😁 (cut the nails & I cut the claws into 2 parts) set aside
- Blend all the spices (bawmer, bawput, candlenut, chilli)
- Saute ground spices & geprek lemongrass, lime leaves. until it smells good and changes color
- Add water, then add soy sauce, salt, gulpas, stir
- Add the chicken feet, cook until the spices are absorbed & the claws are soft (I don't use a pressure cooker, cook it for 1 - 1.5 hours 😁)
- Correct the taste & stir occasionally so that the soy sauce doesn't burn
- When cooked & tender, remove from heat & ready to serve.
