First thing first, what is Galette?
Actually its like a pie! The only difference is you use pie dish when making pies as for galettes we don't. You can use any pastry dough in making this dish.
Originally the ingredients for galettes are fruits butter and sugar, mine is different.š
It can be serve as breakfast meal or dinner.
Here's the ingredients:
Roti prata dough (2 crust)
Sweet pepper
1 whole Tomato
Mozzarella
Sausage( any of your choice)
2 tbsp milk mix with
1 egg
Procedure:
Make sure your prata is a bit manageable not too frozen not too soggy. Place it in a baking paper.
Slice the tomato , pepper, sausage.
Start folding the edges like so making a small basin.
Assemble the rest of the ingredients inside the dough.
First the slice tomato, pepper, some cheese and the sausage again the mozzarella on top.
Then pour in the egg and milk mixture filling all the gap inside.
Bake to 250deg to 7 to 10 minutes. Until you see the browning of the dough.
Serve hot! Enjoy!
