We had a pretty poor Indian cuisine encounter at Falun a few years back. On social media, I posted my review video along with pictures of the dish. And after seeing my video, one of my Facebook friends from Falun, Zain, got in touch with me and invited me to his house.
Since we had already left the Falun and were returning home, I made Zain a promise that we would undoubtedly visit his house the following year. Zain informed me of his business. From a rented kitchen, Zain and his wife Aaima ran an internet meal delivery business.
Following a fantastic response from customers, they opened a Pakistani and Indian restaurant in Falun during the pandemic.
The pandemic didn't deter the Pakistani pair Zain and his wife Aaima; rather, it inspired them to venture out and create opportunity rather than live in seclusion and be afraid of relapsing. In addition to their passion for cooking, they are actively promoting the authentic flavour of Pakistani cuisine in Sweden.
Our Visit to Aaima Kitchen at Falun
This summer, we went there for lunch. When I travel to small towns, I frequently notice that they make an effort to preserve their cultural traditions. I'm always interested to learn about the cultural traditions that people from small towns keep. I find that these traditions often make these places so much more interesting and welcoming to visitors. You frequently see antique, artistic, or painted mirrors.
As in this restaurant, you can eat while surrounded by elements of Pakistani culture and art. You will find paintings and Pakistani truck art interior decoration on the walls and windows. The bread basket and hand-stitched doll, which go hand in hand with the modern touch, look wonderful.
We ordered saag beef, lamb madras, jhinga jalfrezi, and chicken curry.
They have a different flavour than other restaurants. Every dish had its own masala, or set of spices, which gave each one a distinct flavour.
My favourite was the Kashmiri samosa, and my favourite main course was the saag beef and creamy chicken curry.
