I hope you all are doing great. As we all know that in todays era no one is paying attention to their health due to their busy schedule , lack of time and many more reasons......
so today i am going to share easy quick recipe of poha { flattened rice } which you can cook only in 10 minutes.
First of all let me tell you that poha is so good for your health and can be a good option for your breakfast. well poha is a good source of healthy carbohydrates , rich in iron , low in calories , easy to digest , controls blood sugar levels and a good probiotic. Poha is loaded with full of nutrients. So you can definitely add poha in your breakfast.
Ingredients :
- 10 to 11 cloves of garlic
- 2 onions { fine chopped }
- 2 tomatoes { fine chopped }
- Mustard seeds
- Asafoetida
- curry leaves
- 1 bowl of poha { flattened rice }
- spices { salt , turmeric powder , red pepper , coriander powder , garam masala }
- 1 lemon
So at first take one bowl of poha and soak it in water for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds , take the poha out of the water and leave it, it will become soft by itself. After that chop 2 0nions ,2 tomatoes , and some cloves of garlic.
Now take a pan and add 2tsp of oil. When the oil is hot , put mustard seeds in it and then first add chopped garlic then curry leaves and then asafoetida. After that add chopped onions , tomatoes and you can add vegetables according to your taste. now leave it for 2 minutes.
After two minutes add spices in it and mix it well.
Now after adding spices leave it for 1 minute and then add soaked poha in it and mix it well. After 2 minutes add few drops of lemon it it it will enhance the taste.
