Everyone know that katla fish is very popular fish . There are many recipes on katla fish . Many occasions and hotel ,restruant cook different types recipes of katla fish. It is very delicious and tasty recipe. Today I am sharing katla fish curry with potatoes.
Ingredients
Catla fish belly-7 pieces
Potatoes-500grams
Tumaric-1 table spoons
Salt -1.5 table spoons
Raw chillis-8 pieces
Onions-2 pieces
Garlic -1 piece
Cumin -5 grams
Garam masala -3 grams
Mustrad oil- 200grams
Bay leaves 4 pieces
Water as needed

Some days ago I went to visit Rasulpur fish market . There i bought 1 kg 300 grams katla fish. After buying i returned my house.
Step 1.
At first I removed katla fish shells . I cut katla fish perfectly .I washed katla fish with fresh hot water .
Step 2
I mixed tumaric and salt with katla fish.
Step 3
I removed potatoes shells . I cut potatoes .I washed potatoes with fresh fresh water .
Step 4
I cut raw chilli slicely . After that I cut onions and garlic slicely.
Step 5
I made paste dry chilli , three cardiments , garam masala together.
Step 6
First I put the pan on the oven. Then I put mustard oil in the pan. I heated the oil for some time. Thus I fried catla fish with hot oil.
Step7
When mustrad oil is hot in pan again. I fried potatoes .
Step 8
I added raw chilli and tumaric ,garlic with potatoes . I admixed water as needed in potatoes . I boiled 15-20 minutes this curry.
Step 9
After boiling 15 minutes , i mixed fry katla fish in curry.
Step 10
After boiling for 5 minutes , i picked this curry from pan.
Step 11
I gave 5 grams of mustard oil in the pan. I heated the oil a little and I mixed 2 chopped onions and 1 chopped garlic.
Step 12
After frying onion and garlic , i added this curry again in pan. I boiled this curry 8-10 minutes. Thus I made delicious katla fish curry with potatoes .
Katla fish is a very tasty fish. Katla fish is cultivated commercially in india. Becides Asian countries are cultivating this katla fish commercially.The demand for katla fish is very high in the market. At present most of the countries are selling this katla fish. Even this katla fish is being sold abroad. This fish is also in great demand in foreign markets. This fish is very popular in our country. Katla fish is so popular in India and Bangladesh that if you go to any fish market, there will be rui fish. Katla fish is so delicious to eat that those who ate it understood the taste of Katla fish. The head of the catla fish is quite thick. The shape is thick oblong. Rui fish are silver in color. The mouth of Katla fish is thin and slender. The scales of the catla fish are very big. Katla fish is a freshwater fish. Katla fish lay eggs in September. Katla fish weighs more than 800 grams in a year. I personally like catla fish very much. Numerous recipes can be made with catla fish. However, as far as I know, if every Bengali has a curry of Katla fish with potatoes at home, it is as if the Bengali's food is quite frozen. This is a homemade recipe . In a word it is very delicious recipe.
