Good morning everyone, and welcome to this post! I'm going to show you how I made cupcakes by adding pineapple soda to the batter instead of milk. This is a different way to make this batter for cupcakes and cakes. Of course, I made this recipe for my business, and it's always good to have new options. The way to have new options is by trying different ingredients in recipes. Today, I'm not only showing you how I make cupcakes for my business, but I also want to show you a different way to prepare these desserts.
Ingredientes/Ingredients
- 250 ml de refresco de piña
- 500 gramos de harina de trigo
- 250 gramos de mantequilla
- 250 gramos de azúcar
- 50 gramos de cacao en polvo
- Una cucharada de polvo de hornear
- 4 huevos
- Capacillos
- 250 ml pineapple soda
- 500 grams wheat flour
- 250 grams butter
- 250 grams sugar
- 50 grams cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 4 eggs
- Cupcake liners
Preparación/Preparation
Paso 1
Step 1
Then I started by making the mixture as usual, adding butter and sugar to make the first mixture until it was nice and fluffy.
Paso 2
Step 2
Then continue adding the four eggs one by one, mixing at the same time until well combined.
Paso 3
Step 3
Then I added the wheat flour, baking powder and soda, gradually incorporating these ingredients until they were well combined.
Paso 4
Step 4
Now, in a separate container, prepare the chocolate mixture, adding some cocoa and the normal bread mixture.
Paso 5
step 5
Now it was time to place the cupcake liners in the muffin tin, and I layered the batter, first the plain batter and then the chocolate batter, continuing until I reached the top of the liners. Then, using a wooden skewer or toothpick, I created the marbled effect. I baked them in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 10 minutes.

And so the cupcakes are ready! Now you can enjoy them with a cup of coffee and appreciate how delicious they are. The pineapple soda gives them a fruity flavor and makes the batter extra fluffy. I encourage you to try this trick in your cakes. In the end, I made 25 cupcakes because I ran out of cupcake liners, but I estimate you'll get about 30 or 35 cupcakes in total. With the remaining batter, I made a small cake, since nothing goes to waste here. If you stopped by this post and followed along with the recipe, thank you, and I hope you find this idea useful.
