Mmmm, mmm, yummy goodness! My husband's sweet tooth was at it again so I decided to use up some of my chocolate from the holidays. I still had 2 bags of Christmas M&Ms which somehow eluded my husband's eyes. If you like a hefty, chewy cookie then you will enjoy this recipe. Plus, it is so easy to make.
Monster Cookies
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups peanut butter
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups oatmeal
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups mixture of chocolate chips, butterscotch, & M&Ms
Instructions
Mix all your ingredients together to form your dough. It will be very stiff.
Drop small scoops of dough onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 350° F for 10 -12 minutes watching them carefully so as not to overbake them.
Remove them to a cooling rack and enjoy!
I may try them again but might only use 4 cups of oatmeal and add 1 cup of regular flour instead. That might make them a little less dense, which I would prefer. Feel free to tweak the recipe to your liking and see how they come out.
Happy baking!
