Chatpat is the widely celebrated and loved street food in the nook and corner of the country. Nepal loves spices, and chatapat is one of the spicy food of Nepal. However, it depends on you to have it without chilly.
You will need a big bowl, spoon, and following ingredients.
Ingredients(per 1 people serving)
- Puffed rice : 10-20gm
- Bhujiya / Raw Noodles: 50 gm
- Chickpeas/Peas : 3 tbsp
- 1/2 Chopped small onion Into small pieces
- 1 Corainder plant chopped into mini pieces.
- 1/2 tbsp Salt (according to taste preference)
- Few drops of lemon juice/Vinegar
- 1 tbspTomato Sauce Paste
- 1/2 tbsp Chat Masala
Recipe
First, take a small bowl/plate and put the puffed rice.
Then, put some chick peas, peas, and bhujiya or raw noodles.
Stir them well with the spoon. Put chat masala according to the taste. Now, put some chopped onions and corainder leaves. Put Salt, and the Tomato Sauce. (Add, pinch of chilly poweder if you like.)
Now, add the vinegar/lemon juice according to the taste preference. Stir them well.
Your Chatapat is ready to serve.
