Here is my recent batch of homemade pepperoni rolls. While absolutely the best right out of the oven, you can freeze and reheat these over a few days for quick meals or snacks. Lots of variety too, just shove whatever your heart desires in there really 😆
Rhodes Dinner Rolls - The smaller ones. I will let them defrost to the point where I can press them flat by hand. I combine two as I like the dough a bit thicker (I love bread)
Pepperoni - I prefer slices but you can used shaved pepperoni too
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - Gobs and gobs of cheese!
After rolling/pressing out each roll, add you desired amount of pepperoni followed by a generous pile of cheese. Wrap and roll it then twist the ends to seal it up real nice and tuck them under. Add a bit of butter and heat after allowing them time to raise (your own preference) at low temperatures until desired. I recommend adding butter throughout the process if they are hardening too quickly.
