Time to use the apple compote and bake some goodies
Yesterday I shared the apple compote I made from half of the big bag of apples I was given here. The compote isn't going to last forever, so I had to start baking something with the filling and decided to go for puff pastry pies. These are easy to make and I can tell you, even without the added sugar in the compote, they taste very well!

You can top the pies with some powdered sugar and/or whipped cream if you prefer some extra sugar, it's not needed though.
