Hi Everyone,
A visit to the beach is not complete until you get some fish and chips and eat it on the beach. We were at The Entrance over the weekend and the weather was perfect for the kids to head down to the beach while the mums went to get some lunch for everyone. Some of us wanted pies and some fish and chips so we went separate ways to order quickly as the shops were getting a little busy.
There was a bit of a line so after waiting around 5 minutes, we ordered a grilled fish pack, 1 kids pack, 2 seafood sticks, 2 fish cocktails and a small chips. As there were kids with allergies, having a combination of everything was the best choice so people could just pick and choose what they could eat.
As we expected, it was a bit of a wait to get our food. After 15 minutes of waiting, our food finally arrived. To our surprised, the servings were pretty generous. All up it was around $50 but the amount of food was not bad. The fish wasn’t the cheap basa fish you get from the supermarket which was good value.
The grilled fish meal was enough for me and BB E, a few kids shared the kids pack and additional orders they wanted plus the chips. Everyone else had pies … I couldn’t have it as it has gluten cry Overall the food was delicious, the kids loved it and we cleared everything in no time. Great find, no wonder it was so busy, we have found a gem!
