Welcome to Cookout Cebu! ;)
Cookout Cebu and the sun that was about to set.
Yum!
Nachos, but zoomed in. Hehe.
Loaded fries, also zoomed in.
BBQ ribs, spicy ribs, and teriyaki beef rice bowl.
The corner where we sat.
Pretty skies - our view at the top!
Oh, it's me! :D
Me and my workmates, with the sun's splendor as our beautiful photobomber.
More of the view at the top.
Working in the corporate scene can be very exhausting and mind-blowing, especially when different problems and concerns come all at once. And for me and my workmates, the answer to the unending stress at work is no other than food! It was a very nerve-racking day so we decided to eat out after work. Since we live in the southern part of Cebu, within the towns of San Fernando and Minglanilla, we agreed to have dinner at Cookout, located in the City of Naga, Cebu, Philippines. This was the second time that we ate here, meaning to say that we love the food they serve here!
The place utilizes a container van and transformed it into a food kiosk with outdoor seating and even has a second floor. Since we came earlier than most customers, we had the opportunity to choose a table at the top, with the sunset view. By the way, they open at 2PM and closes at 10PM. However, their peak hours start at around dinnertime.
Just to give you a little background, this hangout place recently opened last year and has been becoming famous for their ribs, burger and fries combo! Personally, my go-to food here is their BBQ Ribs and their Camaron Taco. They serve a variety of food choices that include sandwiches, wraps, rice bowls, and snacks. They also have cold beverages on their menu, making it a great chillout place for group of friends who wish to unwind with some alcohol.
Eating out here was really a spontaneous decision but we had no regrets because aside from going home with happy tummies, we were also able to calm our nerves down and for a moment forget about the problems we stress about at work!
