Pancit canton is one of the best afternoon snacks that Filipinos never get tired of eating. I didn't understand them before though, why they really liked Pancit Canton, and when it became a trend to eat Pancit Canton with boiled or fried eggs and hotdogs, some people also paired it with Pandesal bread.
However, unlike other people who never get tired of eating plain pancit canton, I became tired of eating it because it's so plain. Oh well, I just remembered that I also have this weirdest habit when my snack is pancit canton too and our lunch is Adobong baboy. I paired the pancit canton with the meat of pig in adobong baboy and it was very nice and delicious! Have you tried the Pancit ni Mang Juan's Pancit Canton Adobo Flavor? It tastes similar, but I prefer to pair the pancit canton with real adobo meat.
Anyway, on this blog of mine today, I will share with you something again. This time, let me share this recipe for Pancit Canton. If you are tired of eating it plain, I think doing or trying this might help for you, and it's not hard to get or hard to cook either, because it's very basic!

First, the most important thing when we cook is to wash our hands, of course. Then,
Let's Prepare the Ingredients
- 2 packs of Pancit Canton
- 1 Can of Century Tuna Flakes 'n Oil
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 Small size of Onion
- Oil (i forgot to take the picture of the oil)
It is important for us to put all the ingredients in one place first so that we will not be in a rush to find them while cooking.
After we prepared the ingredients, let's get the pan
and add 3 cups of water to it. Boil it for 3 minutes.
While waiting for the water to be boiled, let's peel and chop the onion and garlic first. Then, if the water is boiling already,
let's add the pancit canton and boil it again until it becomes soft. Anyway, I forgot to tell you to
separate the seasonings that were included in the pack of pancit canton because we will need them later.
Set aside the pancit canton noodles. Then heat the pan again and add the oil, and when it's heated, add the onions and garlic and wait until the color turns brown.
Then let's add the century tuna flakes 'n oil, stir, and add the seasonings (powder, oil, and soy sauce)* of pancit canton and stir them until the tuna is cooked.
After that, add the Pancit Canton noodles and stir them again until the sauce is mixed well into the pancit canton.
Serve it and Enjoy! Yum!
Conclusion...
This is my first time tasting this. This was my snack earlier, and I was not disappointed with the taste because it's delicious. You know, the taste of the tuna in the pancit canton is tasty! I let my other cousins and my older sister taste the food, and they said that it was good.
We finished the one bowl of the Pancit canton with tuna earlier, so we didn't eat our dinner because we were all full.
