What’s the weekend without a little bit of fun? 🤩
And, if you’re a foodie like me, this translates to edible art like the one in the picture, above.
The dough is store-bought & comes in a bag. My wife stretches it into the shape of a pizza, mixing it with flour. Pizza sauce is store-bought, too.
My part is the preparation of the toppings:
So, I opened the fridge and used what we had: some broccoli 🥦 baby kale 🥬 chopped onions 🧅 sliced pepper 🫑 and some garlic 🧄 and I mixed it with a little virgin olive oil (so that it would not burn).
Healthy vegetables & good looking, too. We usually use Italian cheese, like Parmesan or mozzarella, but we were out, so we grated Swiss đź§€
Because I’m a fussy eater, and a cheese head, I added feta cheese on my half — behold & drool 🤤
Meantime, the oven was preheating while we prepped the pizza, at 410 degrees, and I popped our savory pie in here & tried to forget about it for 20 minutes (pacing up and down, impatiently).
Mama Mia, it’s ready! 👨🏻‍🍳
