They say food tastes better when you eat with friends, and I really agree with that. For me, eating is not just about eating; it's also about the laughter and the stories you share with your friends that make the eating session happier.
Hello, Foodies Bee Hive Community. It's been 2 weeks since I last posted my food blog here. For today's blog, I will share with you guys about a newly opened samgyup place owned by our churchmates way back when we were in high school.
We were mentioned a week ago by one of my friends on a Facebook post about this newly opened Samgyup place, and we planned on visiting and trying their Samgyup. Since I am not available on Sunday, which is the day they preferred, we moved it to Saturday night so that I could come with them. We went there at 8:00 PM because I needed to wait for my husband's arrival from his job.
The name of the place is MEATing Point. It's a week old Samgyup place.
There's a lot of samgyup places here in our town, and to be honest, they all offer the same main dish and side dishes, but this one is different because they have tteokbokki, rice cake, and Korean marinated eggs as side dishes.
As you can see in the menu, They have different sets of options on what to order. They also have unli chicken wings with side dishes. They are offering some ramen and shabu shabu, but we only ordered the 299 pesos, which is the unli samgyup, which consists of pork, beef, and unli side dishes. We also added some unli cheese and juice.
The place is very minimalist, but one thing I don't like about the place is that it's very hot because they have no exhaust fan or something that will release the heat outside. I preferred an open space when eating samgyup.
Even though it's not my preferred place for Samgyup, I still love the place because of the design of their utensils and food trays. I really love the wood design, as I find it very aesthetic and classy to my eyes.
Look at how aesthetic and classy their things are.
One of my friends ordered unli wings with side dishes, and their spaghetti was really good. It tastes like McDonald's spaghetti. The unli wings with side dishes cost 279 pesos.
As for the pork and beef in our samgyup, since I am not into meat, I had a hard time chewing it, but it's not a bad thing. I am the problem, not the meat. Their lettuce is also fresh, and their juice is refreshing.
We had great bonding that night because of laughter and different stories. We are planning to do it again some other time, with a new eating place or a cafe maybe.
Meet my high school best friends, Marichu, Lourdes, and Joanne. The other one was absent that night because she was busy with their rice porridge business.
Thank you for reading.
