Hello everyone, see you again after a long time without greeting you, today I want to share the recipe for pais, pepes, or commonly called prawns that I made a few days ago, in a very simple and traditional way.
This shrimp pie recipe is one of my favorite dishes. I usually buy ready made. But this time I made my own with very simple materials and tools...
As you can see... before we make this prawn pie, we have to make the prawns first. I already have prawns which I put in the basket, I bought 1 kilogram of these prawns in the market for 80,000 rupees...
After the shrimp, the next thing to do is wash the shrimp. then we prepare green chilies, garlic, turmeric, ginger, lemongrass, and grated coconut until smooth, while lime and turmeric leaves are kneaded. Then we mix all the spices and lime leaves and turmeric leaves. then mix and stir until smooth with cornstarch and salt to taste! Only after that we add the shrimp, then stir again until mixed.
After that we take a piece of banana leaf, put it inside and wrap it with the shrimp paste mixture inside, after everything is finished we cover it with a stick, and the pais (pepes) is wrapped in banana. leaves.
Only after that we cook the shrimp pie over the coals until it is perfectly cooked and the aroma is fragrant. If it feels cooked, then we lift it and serve the Shrimp Pais. Ready to eat with family.
Thank you for watching and reading the pais fish recipe culinary blog post that I made a few days ago! The photos above are original from my Oppo A7 smartphone camera.! Then I want to tell you that this fish pie recipe is just an educational lesson for us on how we can cook prawn pepes in a very simple way. Even with limited tools and materials as it seems! but I believe we can.
Thank you
See you again
Regards;
