George Soros has been accused of being at the center of most alt-right antisemitic conspiracy theories like erasing national borders, white genocide and destroying western culture and Judaeo-Christian values. Here's a short post on how this all started and how it's being used by proto-fascist goons like Tucker Carlson.

When QAnon'ers and other far right conspiracy theorists whine about the "deep state" or the "shadow government", they fall for the same old antisemitic trope that's been used against Jews from the time they were blamed for Christ's Crucifixion. Never mind that Jesus was crucified as a Jewish victim of Roman violence. On this, all written authorities agree. A Gentile Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, condemned him to death and had him tortured and executed by Gentile Roman soldiers, and that he was just one of thousands of Jews murdered by Romans.
In the run-up to the Second World War, the Nazis refreshed the old trope by linking Jews to the Bolshevist conspiracy that was out to destroy Germany's Arian culture; Hitler's "Kulturbolschewismus" has seamlessly been adopted by modern right wing nut-jobs like Jordan Peterson, only now it's called "cultural Marxism". And that's after this antisemitic conspiracy theory started in 1903 tzarist Russia through the completely made-up Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a text purportedly written by Jews explaining how they plan to rule the world. This is all so transparently dumb and fake, and I wish these people would save their energy for criticizing the state of Israel. Ironically though, criticism of Israel is seen as antisemitism by Israel's defenders who are also found on the political right predominantly...
So, how did George Soros become the mascot of the far right's hate towards everything that threatens their adored western status quo? Well, that's an ironic story as well, as it was an American Jew who started a hate-campaign against Soros in Hungary in an effort to make Viktor Orbán the president. Yes that's the same Orbán who spoke at the Republican convention, the far right authoritarian who's admired and has been interviewed by Tucker Carlson. The Jew in question is Arthur J. Finkelstein, a political consultant who helped Nixon and Reagan win their elections by using a new strategy:
Finkelstein had long been studying the big political trends, and he settled on simple issues that could do the most damage. In the end, he noticed, it usually comes down to the same concerns: drugs, crime, and race. These are the issues that create the most political division, he wrote in a memo to the Nixon White House in 1970.

Finkelstein's goal, one that's still used by the GOP today, was to polarize the electorate as much as possible by pitching them against each other using fear. Fear around crime, drugs and race, exactly like the modern GOP. Finkelstein and his protege Birnbaum used this very strategy when devising Viktor Orbán's reelection campaign for 2010, and Soros was simply the enemy used to foment fear among the Hungarian electorate. Hungary is a far right success story, one that gave birth to "Trump before Trump", as Steve Bannon said.
The above is just the TL;DR of the Finkelstein story, and Soros is only the latest chapter in a centuries old conspiratorial war waged against Jews. The antisemitism is just obe facet of alt-right politics, but one that binds all the others, racism, white genocide, LGBTQ+ issues, immigration and so on, together.
