Hello Hive! I’m excited (and a little nervous) to finally introduce myself. I’m a neurodivergent parent navigating life, family, routines, chaos, creativity, and everything in between — and I’m hoping to find a space here where honesty and lived experience matter.
I joined Hive because I wanted a place where I could write freely, connect with people who “get it,” and maybe even earn a little along the way. I’m using an iPad, a cup of tea, and whatever quiet moments parenting gives me to share my thoughts.
A bit about me:
- I’m neurodivergent myself
- I’m parenting a wonderfully wired child
- Our home is a mix of sensory overload, humour, trial‑and‑error, and small victories
- I’m learning to build routines that actually work for our brains
- I care deeply about gentle parenting, emotional regulation, and realistic expectations
On Hive, I’m hoping to write about things like:
- what neurodivergent parenting really looks like
- routines that work for ND families
- sensory‑friendly life hacks
- emotional burnout and recovery
- the funny, messy, human moments
- how we create calm in a world that feels loud
If you’re a parent, neurodivergent, both, or just curious — I’d love to connect. I’m here to learn, share, and hopefully build a little corner of community.
Thanks for reading my intro. I’m excited to be here and can’t wait to meet you all.
