Hare Krishna
In my opinion, at the heart of a conscious community (definition needed), is a daily community meditation practice.
A daily (ideally at least twice daily) sitting in stillness meditation practice is essential to help us grow consciously and rise in love as we begin to develop more awareness of our feelings (and a whole lot more). With regular practice we are more able to act from love as opposed to acting from Ego (the little i), and therefore less likely to be re-acting to the (apparent) outer world, the world of drama.
To live in harmony in a conscious community, a willingness to participate in community meditation (and more) within the guidelines of the community is needed. Alongside this, a humbleness to be able to admit we have a lot to learn as we grow from the adolescents we still are, is also required so we can be guided by our "elders" (definition needed here) in cooperative obedience of the community..
