I was having a similar conversation with someone in my team just this week. She was spending hours doing some tasks which were only taking a few minutes for other team members. She was so worried about perfecting her work but was struggling to get all the work done, her progress was just too slow.
I discussed with her that although we are proud of delivering quality, good is.....good enough. We will never achieve absolute perfection. She agreed at the beginning of the task to set herself a deadline which was reasonable enough to deliver to a standard she was comfortable with.
