Late Start, Harvest, Gate Repair, Freeze Dryer Loaded with Batch 58...

I woke up late and was just not really feeling it all day long. So much going on at all times and not enough time to get it all done.

A little better 20.5 pounds of squash was ready. Not much is going out yet but I have a good amount of beans to deliver tomorrow.

It took till after noon but we all went for a walk up top. Got the mile in after finishing it up around the lower property.

I had noticed that the gate on the driveway had loosened the top pin holding it it which allowed the end to drag on the ground. With all the gate supplies I have now I was able to go out and install a new bolt and hinge clamp. It is much stronger now and I won;t have it coming off again.

I was sitting with the birds and the one of the three banties got jumped on by a rooster and I quickly saved her from it. She is the more mellow of the three and allows me to pick her up. She has super cool coloring on her feathers, rather intricate looking. She is a talker and has a pretty funny screech.

My tool shed entrance ramps are both falling to pieces. I ripped the one side out completely and am now trying to decide what to put in its place. It is not a super tall step in and I have more room now without the ramp. I will mull it over for a bit.

Hive account@stryeyz got batch 58 into the freeze dryer and we got it running finally. It is 2 trays of basil and 3 trays of kale.

I managed to get a fire going and then grilled burgers for dinner.

Soaked until dark and then got the birds all put to bed. I am still tired this morning.

Today I have to bag 132 half pound bags of beans along with the rest of the orders for tomorrow morning. The boys have swim lessons today which Hive account@stryeyz is going to take them to. I also have to get everything ready for camping at the tree house with the scouts tomorrow night. Busy days.
