Guava is a tropical fruit rich in antioxidants such as lycopene and vitamin C, ideal for increasing the body's immunity, making it more resistant to viruses and bacteria, it also contributes to the absorption of iron in the diet, helping to avoid or treat anemia when ingested in combination with foods rich in iron. This fruit also helps prevent the aging of cells due to the fact that it prevents the damage caused by free radicals, as well as some types of cancer such as prostate cancer.
Friends!!! After seeing all the benefits that this fruit brings us, you should give it a place in your diet, and what better way to do this delicious dessert, for which you will need:
• 2 cups of wheat flour or gluten-free flour according to your preference.
• 1/4 cup oil.
• 50 g of sugar
• 1/2 cup of flaxseed water to replace the egg.
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• Two guavas to extract the pulp.
• 1 tbsp of vanilla essence.
•a pinch of salt.
Preparation:
First we wash and cut the guavas, boil with two cups of water for 20 minutes, then place in the blender and strain to extract the juice that I will use in the cake.
Now in a bowl, add the sugar and oil.
Then add the linseed water, you must beat very well.
It's time to add a cup of guava pulp and vanilla to the mixture, keep whisking constantly.
He immediately added the pinch of salt and little by little he incorporated the flour with enveloping movements so that the cake was fluffy.
Finally added in a greased tray and baked for 30 minutes at 180C.
