Our perspectives do matters. How we see life, our success, treat others everything depends on our perspectives. And that's why it's way too necessary to reevaluate if we need to change our perspective or not. Because 'one wrong understanding' can make our life filled with unhappiness.
We make bucket lists, lists of our achievement, and so on. It gives us pleasure for sure to see what we have done so far and what we need to do to make us feel fulfilled. But we all know life doesn't always go as smoothly as we want it is to be. So, there's a high chance to feel 'less fulfilled' in many ways. Because you will see a lot of happy, successful faces around you.
Think reversely. Don't always focus 'what to do', sometimes focus on 'what if you have not achieved it', 'what if you don't do it'. And there's no need to say that we have to focus more on what we achieved already. When we see things reversely it gives us a different view of life. You will feel more fulfilled if you count everything you did so far not just 'what to do'.
Make a list of your achievement so far like your academic achievement to your career profile. You will see you 'bucket' is not empty. So if you fail to fulfill your 'bucket list', it's totally okay. You already have done so many things.
It's way too necessary to appreciate ourselves. And these reverse thinking is just a simple strategy to focus on our achievement than our future goal. It will not shift our focus from the present moment and make us lazy but it will help us feel more fulfilled. And we all have to approve, giving us this feeling of fulfillment is the key to happiness.
