The feeling of loneliness is worse than anything. When you feel lonely, two things usually happen. One, you don't feel like reaching out to anyone. Two, you start to think about all the negative things. These two sides make it more impossible to get out of this rut.
But...
One thing I found helpful. And that is, believing 'I'm not alone'. Well, you can be physically alone. But believe, you are not the only one who is experiencing this, even if it's the worst pain you are going through.
You may lose the connection with your friends, family, the people you love. You may find yourself totally alone in your journey or in your pain. But there are people out there, who can help you, who can let you feel less lonely and give you courage.
Let me explain a little bit more!
From different organizations to individuals, from different social media groups/places to real people; you can talk about yourself. Especially in this 'online ear' it's totally possible to reach out to people to share your story, find others who are going through the same.
Now, as I was saying earlier, you may not feel like reaching out to anyone. But believe me, once you do it will change the way you think about life. You are really not alone even in your very lonely days. Reaching out to people will help you believe this.
They say that 'life sends us helpers alone with our pain'. It may not sound true, but open your eyes wide. I can guarantee you will find at least one who can listen to you, comfort you, make you believe in life.
What matters most is how you are putting effort to make your life work. And to do that, you have to believe 'you are not alone'!
