A few weeks ago a friend told me that she was having problems with her new printer, so I decided to give her a hand, check what was wrong and repair it. The problem was in the assembly of the extruder and the teflon that had been wrongly placed.
Hace unas semanas una amiga me hablo que tenia problemas en su impresora nueva, asi que decidí darle una mano, verificar que pasaba y repararla. El problema estaba en el armado del extrusor y el teflón que había sido mal colocado.
Whenever we want to verify if the repairs we made went well we print some object to see the quality, extrusion, among other finishes and in general we are very used to print the typical XYZ calibration cube. It is a very useful tool for this type of tests, but it is not very aesthetic to keep or to have it as an ornament somewhere in the house or the workshop, so after many tests we end up with a huge amount of color cubes.
Siempre que queremos verificar si las reparaciones que hicimos salieron bien imprimimos algún objeto para ver la calidad, la extrusión, entre otras terminaciones y en general estamos muy acostumbrados a imprimir el típico cubo de calibración XYZ. Es una herramienta muy útil para este tipo de pruebas, pero no es muy estética como para guardar o tenerla de adorno en algún sitio de la casa o el taller así que tras muchas pruebas nos terminamos quedando con una cantidad inmensa de cubos de colores.
A piece that at least I feel is much more complete to test printing quality, overhangs, retractions is the typical little boat so well known by all of us makers, this STL demands the maximum from the printer to know its limits. This test is much nicer to keep or even to give as a gift in case we want to get rid of them.

After repairing this Ender 2 I proceeded to print a small scale boat as I needed to do a quick test and the result was fantastic as well as tender. The only thing I noticed is that some plastic threads remained, but after modifying a little the retractions I achieved an optimal result.
Tras reparar esta Ender 2 procedí a imprimir un barquito en una escala pequeña ya que necesitaba hacer una prueba rápida y el resultado fue fantástico además de tierno. Lo único que note es que quedaron algunos hilos de plástico, pero tras modificar un poco las retracciones logre un resultado optimo.
