Hello everyone 😁 saw this new challenge in Ladies of Hive community and I immediately think of a topic for today's blog.
One of the questions in contest #105 is if Hive will be a food, what it would be. I think Hive as dish will be Pinakbet. Pinakbet is a Filipino cuisine originated from the northern part of the country. The name Pinakbet came from the Ilocano word "Pinakebbet" which means "shrunk".
This dish comes with different kinds of vegetables cook together to produce a very healthy and delicious food. I think that Hive consist of different people from different country that holds abundant and variety of cultures. However, even though users differ a lot, Hive can make us mix and create a harmonious safe space for everyone. Moreover, Pinakbet is definitely healthy as the ingredients are mainly vegetables: squash, eggplant, bitter gourd, ladies' finger, string beans (sitaw), etc. Same goes with Hive, it feeds my brain healthy information and I learned a lot of things through reading other people's blogs. It strengthen my skills in communication as I digest the details of other people's writings.
Alamang (shrimp paste) is also added in this dish to give flavor to the dish and make it more appetizing. Contests in Hive are like alamang, it give exciting ideas to the users and help them become more productive as well as developing each other's skills in writing.
Despite the differences, Hive make us connect and become a perfect dish for a main course.
That's all for my entry 💛
