...The rule now is, don’t give out money you’re not ready to lose to others. If you see me giving money to someone even as a loan, it means I wouldn’t mind losing it or being ghosted.
Times are getting tough. I exercise that same policy here in Canada too. I carry spare $25 and $50 grocery and drugstore gift cards with a variety of different cards as a part of my pre-planned strategy.
