My most dull hours are the afternoon ones. The moment I have my lunch after that I go lazy, and I guess that happens with many of us. That's why since years I have made a habit of a late lunch, which is normally at 2:30 p.m. so by this time half the afternoon has got over and I am still active till that hour. Afternoons I avoid a heavy lunch except for weekends. If I have had a heavy meal then for sure I need a nap and I avoid to sleep in the afternoon, else my night sleep gets disturbed.
Once I have had my lunch then the next 2 hours are relaxation time, where I prefer watching something on television or reading. I like to watch lifestyle and travelling related content on television. My favorite channel for afternoon time is Travel & Living, or sometimes I watch some Netflix series. That's how majorly my afternoon time passes. Some times I do some organizing activity, like clearing up my drawers, cupboards if needed. If I want to step out for shopping then again it's after lunch. It is not a regular affair but whenever I have to, it's the afternoon time. My idea for a perfect afternoon is this only, to keep it light and relaxed. Then evening again I am full of energy to do the rest of the things for the day.
I love coffee, especially a nice Cappuccino but it's not suiting my digestive system so I had to completely quit coffee. I was not a regular drinker but once in a way I would enjoy, now that's also stopped. I have never enjoyed having the normal milk tea much, so I invented my own herbal tea, which is made with a mix of all herbs. In the preparation I put cinnamon, cloves, mint & basil leaves and ginger and let it boil for 5 minutes, till the water reduces to half quantity. It's an immunity booster drink and good for health, so I make it a point to have it regularly. It's not exactly Tea, but I call it as my herbal tea, sometimes if I have cough or cold, I add a 2 drops of oregano oil in it, which helps clear the congestion. To make it tasty, even some drops of lemon add up to the taste.
