This weekend was very busy, starting on Friday, after 2 PM, I had appointment with my bestie, Oma Molly. She is a very good mom and Oma. She has two daughters and one granddaughter, very cute and funny, always keeps her busy all the time.
We went to The Park Mall in Sawangan near our house and had lunch together. It was a very sunny day, over 32°C. We ate at a Restaurant called Dapur Solo which serves Javanese foods.
We ordered the same menu: Nasi Kuning Complete ( Yellow rice with spicy potatoes and coconut grilled meat ). The food was very nice and delicious, Traditional Javanese food from Solo with sweet, and spicy flavours.
While eating, we recalled beautiful memories of our travel to Javanese. Its been a wonderful experience.
For desert I ordered Es Campur Solo ( small ice with some jelly and coconut in it with syrup and milk). It was really nice, sweet and refreshing desert.
We talked for more than two hours, discussed about parenting, feelings and our travel experiences. I also heard sad news that her friend has cancer and she felt very sad so I tried to encouraged her and gave her some mental support. I am hoping that her friend will get better and cured, since it has been a hard time for her and her friend so they need a good support system from her family and friends.
After our lunch, we walked around the mall looking for gifts for our friends. From one store to another store and discussing different items, but we kept considering and looking around again. I finally got my gift.
We had a very good time together. It was time to say good bye for a while and continue our lives. This is me time Ala Salma, sometimes at home, work, malls, friends or learning new things. I enjoyed my me time.
