Why do you think society places such a high value on beauty
when it serves no functional purpose?
Beauty is what mostly people appreciate in every part of the world, and even in a community.Everyone admires someone who is beautiful.Its also one thing that people have often noticed or given much attention by anyone else.
For me, it's because most of the time people prefer with what they see physically, something that gives pleasure in their eyes.

Outside beauty
Beauty outside refers to human physical appearance, a physical attributes that most people looked at it as a pleasing personality.
For me, I see myself not having a physical appearance which men would always admire with a woman, but I do appreciate with what I have, the way God have made me.You and I has a unique beauty itself that is God given, and we should embraced that, of who we are.
Last day, I have watched a tv program, and I saw a man who was scammed by a girl who is her girlfriend, who asked a huge amount.She said, that she will used it to cure her sickness which is cancer, but instead she used it, for her nose lift,in short ,she's lied.What do you think,did the man feel about it? Of course he was mad and very disappointed.
On the other hand, it's not wrong to transform ourselves , if have a money to spend for it, but if, our budget for food , will be sacrificed or abused other people for the sake of our own desire, it's not good anymore.The simplest way ,is to take care of ourselves and embraced the beauty that we have today.
Inner beauty
An outward beauty fades as the years pass by, it slowly transforms as we aged, even if how much we spend for it, there always comes a time that it will changed.Our skin deteriorate, which we can delay when we have money.
But, beauty inside, like a good heart, a loving spirit and a humble human, will gave a lasting legacy even if we fade on this planet, this beauty will never ever be replaced.No surgeon can established it within us, but, it's a fruit of a good heart, which is molded by circumstances that we have gone through, and a teachable heart.
My answer to the question above:
The world nowadays revolved around with what is nice, something that people often set as a standard.
Actually, everyone has its own beauty.But, not everyone can see it.What's beautiful for you or me, might not be beautiful as it is with others.Each of us differ on how we looked at it.And as we can see the trends online, a lot of people want to looked good or pretty and handsome.
For me, beauty is already with each one of us, but we sometimes underestimate it or just don't give focus with that particular beauty that we possessed because we focus with how others define beauty.
We can't changed others mindset with beauty, but we can gave attention to ourselves more than we see others appearances.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.Most famous lines I've heard, which is true for me. But, we should not just lived with what people say about us, or what beauty do we have.Instead, enjoy and lived the way we are, live life as it's existed temporarily.
This body that we have today, is just like a container, the most important, is who we are inside, the living person who lived within.
