As a human, paying attention to our health when we fall sick is normal. At that moment we make sure to follow the doctor's instructions, we take enough rest, and drink water. So that we can recover quickly.
But what happens when we are unhealthy?
When there are no signs or symptoms of sickness, no discomfort, do we still care?
For me, the answer is simply NO.
Most people tend to ignore self-care. Well as for me, as much as I love games, crochet, movies, chatting, I don't argue with my body whenever it signals bed time. But recently I've been ignoring it because of my workload. I love drinking water so I'm always hydrated.
I know good health is not all about the treatment but the maintenance we give to the body.
And I'm sincerely working on that.
It's not that difficult. They are little things we can do daily if you really care about your health.
You don't have to feel exhausted before you rest.
Even if you don't feel thirsty, we need to drink enough water.
Also eating balanced diets.
Happiness too is important. By doing something that gives you peace and joy it's one of the best health maintenance you can offer to yourself.
Consistently doing all this helps reduce the chances of sickness too.
Because caring for yourself is not just about the drugs you use and how fast it heals you.
But it's about maintaining the life already given to you.
Thank you for stopping by.😊 Bye for now.
