It has been 24 hours since I joined Hive via Ecency and created my introductory post. I didn't know a lot about Hive but managed to learn quickly how to align my text and used my previous experience from blogging on read.cash.
I was lucky that I found this article: HOW TO FORMAT YOUR BLOG IN AN EPIC WAY | +A Guide For Beginners by , it helped me to find the code needed to align my text the way I wanted.
I never had the pleasure to be able to view how my post will look exactly and the preview screen helps a lot. I feel that with time and after having acquired enough experience on Hive, I will find all these tools missing from all the rest platforms I use.
Well, it's been only one day, but I have to say that after finishing my introductory article I kept visiting hive and tried to fit in my brain all the standard information that I will be performing automatically later. I try to absorb as much as possible and I've also found so many interesting articles.
I wrote a Dogecoin post today on read.cash and I will think about reposting it here too after I verify this is possible without creating any kind of problems with the platform rules. Maybe adding links to both posts here and in read.cash will make it possible.
I used to like Doge and frankly, I was using it often. Of course, I can't use it anymore since fees have reached $2.5 and as expected from an early blockchain that has not upgraded to scale, it can't handle increased traffic. Scalability and efficiency are not features of the early blockchain. However, the point is about Dogecoin as an asset.
There is a craze for this one, after Elon Musk first tweeted about it, I think it was this January. Sadly, as expected by Dogecoin, it can't scale. It had little development and a small community.
My Dogecoin article in read.cash is this one:
https://read.cash/@Pantera/dogecoin-fees-above-2-rcryptocurrency-censorship-0404e315Dogecoin Fees above $2! & r/CryptoCurrency Censorship.
I discuss there the Doge fees and a few more interesting facts that happened the last few days. I know that not everything is black or white, and maybe I went a little too hard on Dogecoin, but I can explain my motives.
First of all, Dogecoin we all know is only a meme. But some have taken this meme very seriously and invested too much. There is this guy, that made a million on Robinhood by selling every other investment he had and putting it all on a Doge long position. He became famous in the crypto news as the Dogecoin Millionaire.
Here is the YouTube video of his interview taken by Andrei Jikh:
They call this guy "Diamond Hands" and "Dogecoin Millionaire". Kudos to him but what we didn't read about him in the crypto news, is that he still has the long position on Robinhood open, and plans to close only when his position reaches $10,000,000. It gets crazy and seriously I see no actual investment strategy there except greed. It is euphoria and extremely risky to make a million and risk losing it getting liquidated.
This kind of investors that Dogecoin has attracted need a reality check. And today I've also witnessed r/cryptocurrency community at Reddit removing a post concerned about the Dogecoin high fees.
It is obvious they don't want you to know that Dogecoin fees are $2.5 right now. Anyway, I had all that in mind, and I am very tired today after entering lengthy conversations in Reddit about everything Doge. Something I would never have imagined, it really seems that too many have invested, and sadly when the bad news comes, too many will lose their money with Doge.
Thank you for bearing with my Dogecoin rant, I promise to be more valuable and useful in the next posts, but this Friday has been a whole Doge day for me. I must have typed the word Doge a couple of hundreds of times and all my discussions were about it.
For future posts on Hive, I will prepare a different divider as this pattern I am using right now doesn't fit well with the dark theme. Hey, I hope most of you are using the dark theme, it is very relaxing! I'm also expecting to get more accustomed to Hive and slowly explore the possibilities it offers to the writer.
Thanks for reading. Got to go back to Reddit and give more replies to Dogecoin questions and worried investors.
