Now coming to the show. This week was special as the world celebrates Christmas and other Holidays around the globe. We had a story reading session, where I read two beautiful Hindi stories from one of the best writers in India, Munshi Premchand.
पूस की रात (Poos ki Raat) was the first story about a farmer who had to give his money that he saved for his blanket and was forced to spend a chilly night out in the cold with his only companion, his dog. Here is the complete story and I found a translated version as well.
कफ़न (Kafan) is very close to my heart, I have read it multiple times. It fills your heart with so many emotions, a story about a son and father duo who has no empathy for the world and all they care about is how they can get their next meal. Here is the Hindi version and I found a translated version for this one as well.
