En los actuales momentos y debido al aumento en la divulgación del espectro autista, hay un buen número de películas, series, cortometrajes, documentales y reality shows o programas de la telerrealidad que trata el tema del autismo, en personajes protagonistas o bien secundarios dentro del tema principal.
He visto algunas muy buenas películas sobre el tema, pero me decidí por compartir un reality show de Asperger´s are us, que relata el trabajo de este grupo de cómicos, integrado por cuatro aspies, para preparar la función que podría ser la última con todo el grupo. El reality show puede verse completo en Netflix, donde también incluyen valiosas películas sobre el espectro autista.

La otra razón es la importancia que se da a la comicidad y la risa. En palabras de Jack, gracias a la comicidad cruzó el puente entre sí mismo y el mundo. Y según la madre de New Michelle, fue la comicidad lo que integró a los participantes del grupo. Este dato resulta muy significativo, porque a veces olvidamos lo importante que es encontrar un fuerte punto de contacto con otras persona y algo tan positivo como la risa resulta un excelente vínculo.
