Recognizing that our most challenging competition is our past self, is one of the most difficult things to work within our emotional process; and that experience within our personal growth is like a door of opportunities and in turn a cage with the same key.
Notice something, what seems to me the deepest of all this is what is behind that internal struggle, because carrying something big from the past while trying to build something new and totally different in the present is one of the most complex processes that a person can live. In the end, this leaves us with the reflection that many times the achievement that raised us up at some point can become the ceiling that limits us if we do not learn to manage and integrate it from a place of maturity and emotional intelligence.
Although sometimes life gets heavy, and it even costs us to get up and things are not going as you thought, we must always remember that everything happens, we have fought many battles and we have still come far, life has good cycles and others not so much, But they are those cycles.
I share with you in this post what I wish I had known when I got anxiety.... The one that shows us which part of you needs attention, listening to what she wants to tell us is key in the healing process. When it is not reciprocated it becomes harmful.
Although you will not always receive what you give, being in relationships where you give and give and receive nothing ends up becoming harmful. If you get hooked up with someone who only receives from you, but does not give to you, the situation ceases to be healthy.
It is worth warning that you can receive different things in life than you expect and that's fine, but not receiving anything when you give everything is undoubtedly a lousy business. It's normal. We all have moments when tiredness weighs and doubt even appears how to keep moving forward when our path gets uphill.
Habits are not imposed, they are built. Small decisions, sustained over time, make the difference in how we live every day.Incorporating healthy habits is not about demanding more of yourself, it's about starting to live better.
I wish that this month of May is the month to do an emotional audit and look inward and recognize the balance in areas of our life that ask for a little more attention, understanding and good self-care habits.
May with M to Look at Us
to the eyes and marvel at who we are. Also to enjoy with friends an afternoon of tea and some delicious sweets and savours.
