Don't be afraid of age...
Many people are really afraid of getting older. We are not always ready to see each other through the years.
In my own words, this stage has its difficult things to cope with, we can always live it with authenticity and even with humor, but above all, with the truth of who we are, without fighting with the passage of time, do you know why? Because it is a harmful fear, which does not allow us to enjoy life. Maybe seeing so much forced perfection, beauty treatments, is having its effect on people.
Each age brings its experiences and in one way or another we are reflecting it externally. It's "to shine for who we are and not for what we look like" wow what a chevere phrase!! I love it!!! The important thing is to keep ourselves in balance from the inside out.
Old age will be the nightmare of those who love vanity. Every age or decade is an experience. You just have to live the best you can.
Whenever I can proudly say the year I was born or my age, I do it. That he is already over 60 years old, they are years lived and enjoyed. I'm not, the wrinkles on my face. It's just me with more wrinkles and experiences. The tragic thing would be not to continue fulfilling with my body, that's why I do functional 6 days a week. You can look just as beautiful at 60 as at 20, because it's not the body...or DNA, it is our own style and personality that dresses us, beautifies us and sets us apart.
The really tragic thing is not getting old. Without a doubt, I look in the mirror every day and I see the most beautiful woman who reminds me of old times when emotions, longings and adventures were loaded with the sudden heroism of my youth.
Because time, contrary to what many people believe, is not a straight line but a sphere, something like a kind of bubble where everything is happening at the same time. That's how I see it. Every day of my life is "the other day"...it all happened "the other day."
Do you know why? Because my vigorous girl does not disappear, but she is the main witness of the catastrophe of the body, this body that still loves and gives what it wants.
Also as Álvaro Mutis says... "The real tragedy of growing old is that there, inside us, there is an eternal boy who does not register the passage of time".
Getting older is a blessing and a great fortune that not everyone manages to achieve, especially with health and being physically functional, and how do you choose or plan to live through the years?
