Everything moves inside me and the first thing I do is point to my past as a big culprit with phrases like: "they did this to me," "I grew up like this," "that experience marked me," and blah, blah, blah...and all that influenced but the background of all this is to stay there stuck in the weakest version of the story, by the way, version that ends up being comfortable and totally normalized and it's not like that.
The anxiety we feel today is not our past chasing, it is often the present asking us to organize, to stop running away from what hurts us and start integrating it.
Do you know why I'm talking about integration?
Well, because when we integrate history, it ceases to be an elaborate trauma, it begins to become a structure, and precisely that changes things because it gives us criteria, self-esteem, real strength that sustains us.
So I think that many times it is better to stop fighting with ourselves, to stop punishing ourselves for not having done better before and stop using self-punishment as a deposit of our bills and deposits of our guilt and bills to pay. You know something, the real strength is to look at ourselves honestly and decide to move on from there, rewriting from there a new story, on a blank sheet of paper.
In addition, it is good to be clear that rebuilding ourselves requires direction and reflects the commitment not to abandon ourselves in solitude.
In the end, to change our history is not to erase our past, it is to learn to work with whomever if they know how to do it, and they don't play us along the way.
At my almost 70 years of age, I have little to go, I am really proud of my personal growth in terms of maturity and how I have led my family, with values, without lies, with strength, with determination, with the experiences of the.I pass on the ones I have recognized in order to improve, change the future and see a change, it's like using the past as a bridge, NOT as an anchor.
It is essential to let go of everything that causes us anxiety, fundamental to let go of the eagerness to blame the past and assume the present with a different mentality and with tools that help us understand ourselves.
There is currently a collective sadness that attacks all of us in this era and because we live in constant suffering for the loss of the purpose of life. I think that life does not have to be lived with those terrible episodes of anxiety, with that terrible insomnia and those intrusive thoughts that scare us.
We have to help ourselves first, then we have to reflect, change our beliefs, expand our consciousness, understand things that are difficult for us to understand in order to learn to observe our shadow, our flaws and our dark side.
Don't forget, create discipline and solid habits that will help you strengthen your mindset.Goal fulfillment is the exact method that took me off autopilot, out of chaos, and allows me to move towards my goals without anxiety, without guilt and without demanding more of myself.
Hugs to all. Janitze 🦋
