I am very happy to share this Needlework Monday the culmination of my latest embroidery project that I started, more or less, two months ago, and which I embroidered without rushing as I told you in this post.
Feliz y productiva semana, mis queridas amigas de las agujas. Espero que estén muy bien con salud y bienestar y que hayan disfrutado al máximo del fin de semana, junto a sus seres queridos.
Estoy muy contenta de compartir este lunes de agujas la culminación de mi último proyecto de bordado que comencé hace, más o menos, dos meses, y que bordé sin prisas como les conté en esta publicación.

Today, I did the last stitch to finish embroidering the beautiful black winged butterfly. It was a slow process, but intentional, without rushing. Each stitch was done calmly, enjoying the moment. I let myself be carried away by the rhythm of the thread passing through the fabric, watching the butterfly take shape, concentrating on my emotions of the moment. There was something very special in this embroidery, not only in the design that was challenging because of the color changes in small spaces, but also because of the tranquility that I wanted to give myself, embroidering step by step, without thinking about a time to finish it.
So, while embroidering, I didn't think about when I would finish it, but about how pleasant and gratifying it was to create this beauty with my hands, to see how, little by little, the wings spread, black, elegant and full of other vibrant colors.
Now that I have finished my butterfly, I feel a great satisfaction. Seeing the finished work, after several months, accounts for the days of calm, peace and contemplation I experienced. Each stitch was a moment of connection with me, an invitation to be present, to breathe deeply and enjoy the flow of time. As a reflexion, I think that the most important thing is not always in reaching the goal, but in everything we experience along the way.
This butterfly is, for me, a symbol of silent transformation, joy, freedom and perseverance.

Hoy, di la última puntada para terminar de bordar la hermosa mariposa de alas negras. Fue un proceso lento, pero intencionado, sin apuros. Cada puntada la di con calma, disfrutando del momento. Me dejé llevar por el ritmo del hilo pasando por la tela, viendo cómo la mariposa iba tomando forma, concentrada en mis emociones del momento. Había algo muy especial en este bordado, no solo en el diseño que fue retador por los cambios de color en pequeños espacios, sino por la tranquilidad que quise regalarme, bordando paso a paso, sin pensar en un tiempo para terminarlo.
Así, mientras bordaba, no pensaba en cuándo lo acabaría, sino en lo agradable y gratificante que era crear esta belleza con mis manos, ver cómo, poco a poco, las alas se extendían, negras, elegantes y llena de otros colores vibrantes.
Ahora que he terminado mi mariposa, siento una gran satisfacción. Ver el trabajo terminado, luego de varios meses, da cuenta de los días de calma, paz y contemplación que experimenté. Cada puntada fue un momento de conexión conmigo, una invitación a estar presente, a respirar profundamente y disfrutar del fluir del tiempo. A manera de reflexión, pienso que lo más importante no siempre está en llegar a la meta, sino en todo lo que vivimos durante el camino que recorremos.
Esta mariposa es, para mí, un símbolo de transformación silenciosa, de alegría, de libertad y de perseverancia.
