Por un momento creí que no terminaría este proyecto para Navidad. Ahora puedo decir "misión cumplida", ¡Yehhh!.
En la publicación pasada, te comenté que había adquirido a la ovejita como parte de una colección. Este patrón es de Olka de AradiyaToys. Es la 2° vez que lo tejo, por eso le hice cambios en los colores. En general le pondría nivel intermedio porque juegas bastante con los FLO y los BLO (hebra delantera y hebra trasera). Y allí tienes que contar bien los puntos, sino a destejer.

Este muñeco me tomó mayor tiempo en terminarlo. Tiene detalles imperceptibles a la vista, como: Los bigotes, la barba, el chaleco y la túnica. Estas fotos la tomé cuando no sabía aún que color tendría su túnica de la cabeza.
This doll took me longer to finish. It has details that are imperceptible to the eye, for example: The mustache, beard, coat and tunic. I took these photos when I didn't yet know what color his head tunic would be.
María lleva tonos pasteles en rosado y celeste. Ahora que lo veo, se parece bastante a la virgen de los cuadros. Yo solo utilicé colores que combinen y que usaría la gente de esa época. Y como hace calor en el desierto, llevan colores pasteles.

En los Andes le decimos Niño Manuelito, es mas hay Villancicos (canciones navideñas) donde lo llaman así. También le decimos Cholo, cholito. Creo que los Villancicos aquí son así, relacionados a nuestra cultura. También le decimos Jesús. Por otro lado, este bb es coquetón por eso está haciendo un guiño.
In the Andes, we say Niño Manuelito, and there are even Christmas carols where he is mentioned by this name. We also use the terms Cholo, cholito. La ovejita me tomó menor tiempo en tejerla, fue menos de 2 horas. La ventaja de medir el tiempo es que la próxima vez que lo teja ya no volveré a medirlo. Esto me ayuda a cotizar el precio de venta de las piezas tejidas. Este nacimiento es pequeño, mide unos 10 cm de altura y ocupa poco espacio.
The little sheep took me less time to make, less than 2 hours. The advantage of timing it is that next time I make it, I won't have to time it again. Cuando era bajada de Reyes (6 de enero), al momento de guardar el Nacimiento tradicional (yeso) no sé por qué rompía al bb. Y al siguiente año teníamos que volver a comprarlo (justo es la pieza más cara). Ahora, eso ya no pasará, creo.
