Desafío de las agujas de Halloweek: Petunia, la gata negra / Halloweek needle challenge: Petuna the black cat

Me encuentro nuevamente participando en un reto, en sí me encanta esto de los retos y el tejido. Nuestra amiga Hive account@irenenavarroart tuvo la iniciativa y nos invitó a participar en este reto por #halloweek , es decir por una semana debemos presentar personajes relacionados con esta festividad muy conocida a nivel mundial como lo es el Halloween.

I am once again participating in a challenge, I really love challenges and knitting. Our friend Hive account@irenenavarroart had the initiative and invited us to participate in this challenge for #halloweek, that is to say, for a week we have to present characters related to this worldwide known festivity such as Halloween.

Para el día 1 decidí tejer una gatita negra, quien aún sigue siendo un personaje icónico por estas fechas. A veces me pregunto ¿quién no tuvo un gato negro?...en mi caso hace años tuve un gato macho y actualmente tengo una gata hembra. Por cierto, la gata que tejí fue inspirado en ella.

For day 1 I decided to knit a black cat, who is still an iconic character at this time of year. Sometimes I wonder who didn't have a black cat... in my case, years ago I had a male cat and now I have a female cat. By the way, the cat I knitted was inspired by her.

Seguí el patrón de unos gatitos que tejí hace meses amigos peludos , aunque le cambié la postura, específicamente las patas. Los ojitos de seguridad son claves cuando se trata de tejer con color negro. Antes los bordaba y se perdían con el color del fondo.

I followed the pattern of some kittens I knitted months ago furry friends , although I changed the posture, specifically the paws. The safety eyes are key when it comes to knitting with black. Before I embroidered them and they got lost with the background colour.

Antes mencioné que para esta versión le cambié de postura a sentada. Eso fue porque Petunia (mi gatita) se sienta cada rato para mirar a su objetivo o para pedir comida, jaja. Ella es una gata muy cariñosa y pasiva.

Earlier I mentioned that for this version I changed her posture to sitting. That was because Petunia (my kitty) sits every now and then to look at her target or to ask for food, haha. She is a very affectionate and passive cat.

Mas allá de las creencias, para mí un animal negro es valiente y fuerte porque desde pequeños luchan contra los prejuicios implantados en la sociedad. Siendo este todo lo contrario a lo ya conocido. Cada persona decide cómo ver las cosas.

Beyond beliefs, for me a black animal is brave and strong because from an early age they fight against the prejudices implanted in society. This being the opposite of what is already known. Each person decides how to see things.
