¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great
I didn't think I would finish this collection by 28 July, but I did!.
As you may know, Guamán Poma de Ayala is my favourite character. Some time ago I knitted the version of cronista, that is to say after he had lost his properties. In this version he wears the characteristic clothes of his "Chinchaysuyo" lineage.
Nueva corónica y buen gobierno" (1615) is the book (thesis) that Guamán Poma wrote. There he narrates a singular version as seen from the side of an indigenous person...By the way, I hope to finish reading it this year (haha). Although in this chronicle the author also describes himself, I took the colours of this amigurumi from my friend "Rusbel Mollo".
I love his classic "Chinchaysuyo" hair. True, the Inca Empire was divided into 4 suyos (Antisuyo, Chinchaysuyo, Contisuyo and Collasuyo). The flower he wears on his hat is also classic of his lineage. That is to say, at that time the clothes described where they were from, their family, their outstanding skills, among others.
Although this version is 8in high compared to the mini version of 5.11in. I think I managed to get the same face as the previous version and that's not so easy (in my experience). The hat is "corn coloured" (that's what it said in the yarn catalogue, haha) and this yarn is 100% organic and recycled cotton (eco-friendly). The classic yarns I use didn't have this shade, that's why I opted for this one.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
