¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great!
Maybe it happens to you, when you follow the pattern of an amigurumi you want to change the colors and add your own personal touch. This happens to me very often... the fun here is to achieve a combination of colours that expresses what I want, that is to say, what is the purpose of each color? Today we will see some of this.
¡Hamuy!
Let's go!
In the part 1, we saw the body of the doll. Now we will see the details. The "michi bow" is a classic ornament. I chose blue to match her dress. On the other hand, the hood is a design that comes from another era, at least that's what it looks like. Daniela designed it as if it were a Christmas tree. I changed it with purely Andean motifs, that is to say, as if it were a "night field with a starry sky", very starry.
For the edge of the dress I made a slight variation to get the desired shape (me optimising resources, haha). True, the blue also symbolises water and the pink and turquoise are like the festive colours of the carnivals in the Andes (January-February). The yellow of the leaves symbolises the dead nature or senescence of the leaves in winter (July-August).
From the beginning I wanted her to wear those colors (at least I had that idea) because very often the women of the Andes in Peru wear brightly colored clothes. It seems to me that it is so that they can be recognised from far away (I'm talking about 2 or 3 mountains away), it's like a non-verbal language between them.
Ya que llegaste hasta aquí, se me ocurre sortear un patroncito exclusivo para la gente de esta Comunidad en Hive. Visita mi Tienda y coméntame ¿Cuál patrón desearías tejerlo y para quién lo tejerías?.
With this workshop I learned a lot, from how to crochet to the details of the embroidery, especially new techniques or shortcuts as I call them, thank you very much Daniela and my classmates!
Since you made it this far, I thought I'd raffle off an exclusive pattern for the people of this Hive Community. Visit my Shop and let me know which pattern you would like to knit and for whom you would crochet it.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
