Hello everybody,
Am here again sharing you my last weeks busyness, aside from the rug for hubby which was still NYD - not yet done but 95% almost. Anyway hubby understood how busy me with the unpacked things since we transfered at our new abode. Last saturday I started making the granny squares I thought I could finished today but no matter how I crochet as fast as I could it is still undone.
I bought an oversized second hand top last year. I liked the print and the cotton I guessed it could be comfy to wear it with a little repair and crochet accent.
My inspiration was this picture I saved long long time in my phone gallery. Now is the time to copy the motif, the everlasting granny squares with many possibilities.
So, I started making the squares last Saturday using mercerized cotton and steel hook #6. I adjusted again my tension because it was not easy to shift from big crochet hook 4.5mm (crocheting for my yarnbombing project) to the thin steel hook for single pull cotton no. 3.
Shifting right away to this...
I made 5 rounds granny square, almost 3 inches squares with red, yellow, cream and green colorway, 16 all in all. 4 squares in the front, 4 at the back and 4 squares in each arms. After lunch I rushed crocheting, oh oh, hubby's visitor arrived, haist...so, i continued after dinner.
Rushed means delayed! While I sewed the squares above the cloth, ahahaha, the other side or the back part was included...
So, I calmed myself and accepted I could'nt finish on time with the videos posted suppose to
be in 3speak. I just fit it and took a selfie with my house duster I wore, with the pins!
Thanks for passing by...
