ENG/ESP Crochet trees with wire. / Arbolitos a crochet con alambre.

Happy to meet you again, and if you wonder why, my happiness has a reason to be and is that I continue to move forward with my decorations for Christmas and it is about these little Christmas trees. They are made with a crochet cord and wire, I have already shared this technique in other publications, however I will refer you to how to make this cord.

Feliz de encontrarme nuevamente con ustedes, y si se preguntan por qué, mi felicidad tiene una razón de ser y es que sigo avanzando con mis decoraciones para la navidad y de trata de estos pequeños árboles navideños. Están hechos con un cordón de crochet y alambre, esta técnica ya la he compartido en otras publicaciones, sin embargo les haré referencia de cómo hacer este cordón.

First we make a magic ring of 6 stitches and continue knitting in a spiral until we get the desired length. It's that simple. It is not necessary to count the stitches. In this case we will work with measurements. And for these little trees I knitted approximately 30 centimeters of cord. I used two shades of green and also some beads for decoration.

Primero realizamos un anillo mágico de 6 puntos y seguimos tejiendo en espiral hasta obtener el largo deseado. Así de simple. No es necesario contar los puntos. En este caso trabajaremos con medidas. Y para estos arbolitos tejí aproximadamente 30 centímetros de cordón. Utilicé dos tonos de verde y también algunas cuentas para decorar.

Once we have the cords ready, we cut a sweet wire to size and preferably place a little tape on the tip, this will help us to pass the wire through the cord more easily, we can also make a small bend with the tweezers. We sew both sides of the cord to prevent the wire from coming out.

Una vez que tenemos listo los cordones, cortamos un alambre dulce a la medida y de preferencia colocamos un poco de cinta adhesiva en la punta, esto nos ayudará a que el alambre pase por dentro del cordón con más facilidad, también podemos hacer un pequeño doblez con la pinza Cosemos ambos estaremos del cordón para evitar que se salga el alambre.

We wind the wired cord in a spiral shape and pull one end. We can also use a roll of thread in the shape of a cone or any object that has this shape.

Enrollamos el cordón alambrado en forma de espiral y tiramos de una punta. También podemos utilizar un rollo de hilo en forma de cono o cualquier objeto que tenga esta forma.

We made four five-pointed stars. These I made with a base of 10 medium-high stitches in a magic ring. Then we picked up five chains and knit a slip stitch leaving an unknit stitch, then a single crochet, followed by a medium high stitch and then a high stitch. We fasten off at the base with a slip stitch leaving a stitch in between. Repeat until five stitches are completed. When we have the four stars, we sew them in pairs to give it more structure.

Realizamos cuatro estrellas de cinco puntas. Estas las hice con una base de 10 puntos medios altos en un anillo mágico. Luego levantamos cinco cadenas y tejemos un punto deslizado dejando un punto sin tejer, luego un punto bajo, seguido un punto medio alto y luego un punto alto. Fijamos en la base con punto deslizado dejando un punto de por medio. Repetimos hasta completar cinco puntas. Al tener las cuatro estrellas, las cosemos en pareja para darle mayor estructura.

We make a small piece that fits in the tip of the tree. I made these in a magic ring of 10 stitches. We knit several rounds and then glue it to the tip of the tree and over this, the star.
