Happy Monday to all of you. Friends of Needle Work Monday ❤️. How has your weekend been? I hope you had a great time. At least that's how it was for me: I made the most of these days to walk from here to there but I also had time to dedicate to my beloved sewing hobby so it can be said that everything was complete. For this new Monday of needlework I have prepared to share a project that I have wanted to do for a long time and, as I now have new fabrics, the occasion was perfect: it is a pantyhose with a double strap and I hope you like it ❣️.

Al menos así fue para mí: aproveché al máximo estos días para pasear de aquí para allá pero también tuve tiempo para dedicarle a mi querido pasatiempo costuril así que se puede decir que todo estuvo completo. Para este nuevo lunes de agujas he preparado para compartir con ustedes un proyecto que hace tiempo tenía ganas de hacer y, como ahora tengo telas nuevas, la ocasión fue perfecta: se trata de una panty con doble tira y espero que les guste ❣️.
The good thing about mastering the base molds is that from them you can make the design you want, with more or less fabrics, with cutouts, more or less sensual and basically anything you can think of. This panty design is the same one I did in my previous post, only this time I replaced the lace trim with straps and this was the result. Also, I was able to wear my black and green lace fabric on this garment, I think it was a great choice ❣️.
Lo bueno que tiene dominar los moldes base es que a partir de ellos podes hacer el diseño que quieras, con más o menos telas, con recortes, más o menos sensuales y básicamente cualquier cosa que se te ocurra. Este diseño de panty es el mismo que hice en mi publicación anterior, solo que esta vez reemplacé el recorte de puntilla por breteles y este fue el resultado. Además, pude estrenar mi tela de encaje negra y verde en esta prenda, creo que fue una gran elección ❣️.
It had been a while since I'd made a full lace garment: what I've been doing the last couple of times was cutting out the larger parts in cotton so I don't have to play puzzles with the back and front of the patterns. The wide lace that I use for these sets is 18 cm wide, so sometimes the pieces do not fit whole. This was exactly the case, so I had to lengthen the crotch gusset and cut the back into two pieces which I then zig-zag stitched together 😅.
Llevaba un buen tiempo sin hacer una prenda totalmente de encaje: lo que estuve haciendo las últimas veces fue recortar las partes más grandes en algodón para no tener que jugar al rompecabezas con las partes trasera y delantera de los moldes. La puntilla ancha que utilizo para estos conjuntos tiene 18 cm de ancho, por lo que a veces las piezas no entran enteras. Este fue justamente el caso, por lo que tuve que alargar el refuerzo de la entrepierna y la parte trasera la corté en dos piezas que luego tuve que unir con costura zig-zag 😅.Quote
As always, the first step is to attach the two crotch pieces to the rest of the garment. Although I did it many times, you have to be very careful so that when you turn the garment, the fabric is not inside out. Subsequently, you have to add elastic around the leg and waist, stretching it a little so that later when wearing the panty, the seams do not break 😃.
Como siempre, el primer paso es unir las dos piezas de la entrepierna al resto de la prenda. Aunque lo hice muchas veces, hay que tener mucho cuidado para que al darle vuelta a la prenda no quede la tela del revés. Posteriormente, hay que agregar elástico alrededor de la pierna y la cintura, estirándolo un poco para que luego al usar la bombacha, las costuras no se rompan 😃.
To complete the sides of the panties, you have to order the part that is missing from the mold due to the cutouts and that will be the length of the straps. I also added an extra 3 cm to the measurement to be able to adjust the width: I don't like my clothes to be tight, so I want to be able to make them bigger if I need to. To attach each strap to the panties, hooks must be made with a small piece of elastic. For this part alone I made 16 small seams: it takes a lot of time and work to make the garment look nice and different 😃.
Para completar los laterales de la bombacha, hay que pedir la parte que falta en el molde debido a los recortes y ese será el largo de los breteles. También agregué unos 3 cm extras a la medida para poder regular el ancho: no me gusta que la ropa me quede apretada, así que quiero tener la posibilidad de agrandarla si así lo necesito. Para sujetar cada bretel a la bombacha, deben hacerse unos ganchos con una pequeña pieza de elástico. Solo para esta parte hice 16 pequeñas costuras: que la prenda se vea linda y diferente lleva bastante tiempo y trabajo 😃.
Finally, it only remains to add a small hand-sewn bow. When I get to this part it is the most exciting part because I am very close to the end and to be able to try on the garment, which is what I have wanted to do since I started the project 😅.
Por último, solo resta agregar un pequeño moño cosido a mano. Cuando llego a esta parte es la parte de más emoción porque estoy muy cerca del final y de poder probarme la prenda, que es lo que quiero hacer desde que empecé 😅.

On the other hand, I want to tell you that last Friday I was shopping at the fabric store with my friend because we are going to do a sewing project (last minute) together. I'm very excited because I want this project to be beautiful since it is for a very special occasion. She's going to do one part and I'll do the other, and then we'll put them together: this represents a great challenge for both of us but I'm confident everything will turn out well. I want to give 1 HIVE to the first to guess what project it is, 1 HIVE to whoever guesses what kind of fabric we buy: they are two types of fabric of the same color, and 1 HIVE to whoever guesses what color they are (neither the color nor both types of fabric appear in the image but you can imagine what it can be according to the project you think it is). Even though I love black, I'll give you a hint that that color IS NOT 😅. Next Monday I will announce the winners 😃.
Por otro lado, quiero contarles que el viernes pasado estuve de compras en la casa de telas con mi amiga porque vamos a hacer un proyecto de costura (de último minuto) juntas. Estoy muy emocionada porque quiero que este proyecto quede hermoso ya que es para una ocasión muy especial. Ella va a hacer una parte y yo la otra, y luego las uniremos: esto representa un gran desafío para las dos pero confío en que va a salir todo bien. Quiero regalarle 1 HIVE a los primeros que adivinen de qué proyecto se trata, 1 HIVE a quién adivine qué tipo de tela compramos: son dos tipos de tela del mismo color, y 1 HIVE a quién adivine de qué color son (ni el color ni ambos tipos de tela aparecen en la imagen pero pueden imaginarse cual puede ser de acuerdo al proyecto que se piensen que es). A pesar de que me encanta el negro, les doy como pista que ese color NO ES 😅. El lunes que viene anunciaré a los ganadores 😃.
